She is survived by: her parents, Gilbert "Gib" and Sandra "Sandy" Birk (Thomas); her daughters, Bethany Anderson of Lincoln and Kim Wernsing (Wil) of Mt. Pulaski; her boyfriend Steve Roberts of Lincoln; her grandchildren, Brycen Anderson, Carson Anderson and Wesley Wernsing; her brother George Birk; and her pet Tiny.

Memorial donations may be made in Teresa's name to The Humane Society of Logan County or Open Arms Christian Fellowship.
