He was predeceased by: his parents, Herschel B. Thompson and Juliett Thompson (Pierson). He is survived by: his sons, Mark (Carrie) of St. Joseph, IL and Michael (Robbin Veitengruber) of Bloomington, IL.; his grandchildren, Alexis Juneau (Austin) of Houston, TX, Bradyn Thompson, Denver and Conner Thompson; his brother Herschel Jr. (Deb); and his siblings-in-law, Barb Thompson of Ellery, IL, Janet Bruns (Larry) of Taylorville, IL and Galen Wickline (Brenda) of Lincoln, IL. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews.
