He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert L. Hanks and Janice O. Hanks (Peto); and his uncle Jay. He is survived by: his wife Jennifer Hanks; his sons, Jay Alan Hanks and Caden Alan Hanks; and his sister Michelle Hanks.
