He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Begolka and Anna Begolka (Warren); and his siblings, Harold Begolka and Maryann Aper. He is survived by: his wife Sharon (Aper); his sons, Robert Lee Begolka (Cara) and Steven S. Begolka (Wendy); his grandson Matthew Begolka; his stepgranddaughters, Amy Long (Ryan) and Samantha Brown (Jon); and his great grandchildren, Tristan, Athena Long, Joshua and Remy Brown.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Robert's name to Immanuel Lutheran Church, Lincoln, IL, or the Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson's Research.
