He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond Benedict and Martha Benedict (Jones); his son Raymond "Bubby" Benedict; his grandson Jeremy Geriets; his great grandchild Novalee Marie; and his siblings, Dean Benedict, Wayne Benedict, Kenny Benedict and Ruby Skelton.
He is survived by: his children, Barb Ferguson, Beverly Geriets (Jody), Tina Benedict-Guzman (Larry) and Steven Ray Benedict; his grandchildren, Jennifer Huddleston, Heather Raymond, Justin Fry, Joshua Geriets, Derek Geriets, Sara Baker, Mason Baker, Kaylie Benedict and Dylan Benedict; and his siblings, Lyle Benedict, Brenda Hankins (Steve), Roger Benedict (Cheryl), Carol Parcessepe (Bob), Randy Benedict, Ellen Eggers, Judy Baker and Susie Eatherly (Wayne). He is also survived by 17 great grandchildren, 1 great-great-granddaughter.
