He was predeceased by: his parents, Emil Hendrickson and Tillie Hendrickson (Johnson); and his siblings, Esther Katz, Mildred Berryman and Earl Hendrickson.
He is survived by: his wife Martha Nichols; his children, Julie Daugherty (Joseph) of Sherman, IL, Steve Hendrickson of Costa Mesa, CA and Sue McWilliams (Bruce) of Tremont, IL; and his grandchildren, Britne Cripe (Brian) of Decatur, Shannon Davis (Michael) of Gig Harbor, WA, Nicole Switzer of Tremont, IL. and Ashley McWilliams of Tremont, IL.. He is also survived by friends and was adored by his children and grandchildren.
Memorial donations can be made to Zion Lutheran School.
