He was predeceased by: his parents, Pershing Hicks, Sr. and Lorena Hicks; his sister Eva Jo Lee; and his sister-in-law Carol Hicks. He is survived by: his wife Sandra L. Hicks; his children, Connie Pool (Allen Wayne) of O'Fallon, IL and Kerry Hicks (Juanita) of Beavercreek, OH; his grandsons, Timothy Pool (Sara), Christopher Pool, Matthew Pool (Kelsey) and Nikolai Hicks; his great grandchildren, Amelia, Mackenzie and Emma Pool; and his brother Jerry Hicks.
