Mildred Kay Merritt Obituary
We are sad to announce that on November 30, 2024, at the age of 66, Mildred Kay Merritt of Lincoln, Illinois passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, William Gentry and Evelyn Gentry (Horner); and her sister Betty Knittle. She is survived by: her son Joseph Merritt (Allaniee) of Lincoln; her granddaughter Kayleigh Rose Merritt (William Gentry); her nephews, Scott and Tavis Knittle; her niece Rebecca Leslie (Tommy); her great-niece Arianne; and her great-nephew Bennett.
Visitation was held on Monday, December 9th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Hurley Funeral Home - Mason City (603 E Chestnut St, Mason City, IL 62664). A funeral service was held on Monday, December 9th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Monday, December 9th 2024 at the Mason City Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society or Lincoln Rural Fire Department.
