“It's been almost twenty-four hours since I learned of Mike's death and I remain numb and devastated. I send my deepest sympathies to his family--especially his son. He spoke so highly of his son and I can't imagine the pain and loss he's experiencing. Mike had such a big heart, full of love, wisdom, and a sardonic wit to boot! I met Mike this summer and he took me under his shoulder when I was struggling. I was so looking forward to visiting him post-COVID. Peace and stay strong.”
