Lyle E. Benedict Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Lyle E. Benedict of Lincoln, Illinois, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 23, 2025. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond Benedict and Martha (Jones); his daughter Kathy Benedict; and his siblings, Dean Benedict, Wayne Benedict, Kenny Benedict, Raymond Benedict, Ruby Skelton and Carol Parcesseppe.
He is survived by: his sons, Jimmy Benedict, Lyle Jr. Benedict and Darrell Benedict (Patty); and his siblings, Brenda Hankins (Steve), Roger Benedict (Cheryl), Randy Benedict, Ellen Eggers, Judy Baker and Susie Eatherly (Wayne). He is also survived by several grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Friday, February 28th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Holland Barry and Bennett Funeral Home (620 Pulaski St, Lincoln, IL 62656).
