She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Julia Louise Lanterman and Russell William McAtee; her husband John Robert Beaver; her sons, Brian (Christine) of Bloomington and Brad (Michele) of Sherman; her grandchildren, Kyleigh Snavely (Cole Callahan), Brandon Beaver, Caitlin Beaver and Corey Beaver; her sisters, Judy Gaye Brian of Chatham and Michalene McAtee (William Buzard) of Springfield; and her siblings-in-law, David Coogan of Lincoln and Sue Beaver of Lincoln. She was also cherished by several nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made in Kathy's name to her church, Zion Lutheran of Lincoln.
