It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joyce L. Camel of Lincoln, Illinois, who passed away on February 17, 2025, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the soft embrace of remembrance, we recall the profound impact Joyce had on those she encountered along her journey. Though Joyce may have slipped beyond the veil of mortality, her essence lingers like a faint fragrance in the air, a lingering reminder of the beauty and complexity of the human experience.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John O. Baker and Jessie D. Baker; her son Dana Camel; her daughter-in-law JeanAnn Camel; and her brother Merritt H Baker.
She is survived by: her daughter Cheri Camel Esayian; and her pet Greta. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews and many friends.
