It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joseph Dancy of Lincoln, Illinois, born in Cuba, Illinois, who passed away on December 11, 2021, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry C. Dancy and Naomi Lucille Dancy (Beery); his former wife Marjorie Johnson; his wife Doris Clark; his stepchildren, Norm Clark and Rhonda Kraft; his siblings, LaVerne Daniels, Marian Stahl, Louise Hall and William C. "Bill" Dancy; and his son-in-law George "Gene" Todd.
He is survived by: his daughters, Ruth Todd and Joyce Dancy; his stepchildren, Neil Clark, Tim Clark, Reva McFadden and Stan Clark; and his sister Ilene Safford. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Memorial donations may be made to Prairieland Christian Church or to the American Cancer Society.
