He was predeceased by: his parents, Sam Henderson West and Freda Mae West (Green); his spouse Ressie Jeanette Joiner; his children, Cheryl Lynn West and Jerrald Jr.; his siblings, Billy Gene West and Lola Mae Adams; and also West Jr..
He is survived by: his son James West (Lisa) of Atlanta; his grandchildren, Jordan West, Amanda Buse (Sam) and Jerrad West; and his great grandchild Ellie Payton.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Logan County friends of the NRA and will be accepted at the funeral home.
