He is survived by: his son James West (Lisa) of Atlanta; his grandchildren, Jordan West, Amanda Buse (Sam) and Jerrad West; and his great grandchild Ellie Payton.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Logan County friends of the NRA and will be accepted at the funeral home.
