It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jay Crook (Lincoln, Illinois), born in Belleville, Illinois, who passed away on October 1, 2018, at the age of 64, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Louis T. Crook and Dorothy C.; and his brother James L. Crook. He is survived by: his sister Judith Richards (James) of Leesburg, FL; his children, Solomon A. Smith of East Lansing, MI and Anna Cordova (Damien) of Hiroshima, Japan.; his grandchildren, Solomon Smith, Jr., Tiffany Morton, Steven Smith, Khloe Smith, Saffron Cordova and Violet Cordova; his great grandchild Jeremiah Hughes; and his nieces and nephews, Lisbeth Cattafesta (Michael), Todd Crook (Victoria), Thomas L. Kapfer, Kathryn Rash (Michael) and Tarah Crook (Eric Peery).
