It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Janice Helton of Lincoln, Illinois, born in Tallula, Illinois, who passed away on July 23, 2021, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, George G. Helton and Annie E. Helton (Barrett); her son Anthony L. Helton; her brothers, Almon A. Helton, Loren T. Helton, Paul J. Helton and Billie R. Helton; her half-brother Carl J. Lingo; and her sisters, Barbara J. Parrott, Emmer M. Travis and Carol S. Helton.

She is survived by: her brothers, Calvin Elmo Helton and Philip James Helton; her grandsons, Anthony M. Whitacre and Justin R. Whitacre; her stepgrandson Triston Steen; her niece Cecilia A. Ott; and her close friend Cecilia.

Memorials may be made in Janice's name to The American Cancer Society.
