James Watkins Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Watkins of Lincoln, Illinois, born in Springfield, Illinois, who passed away on June 20, 2022, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Nelson Watkins and Flossie Watkins (Magee); and his siblings, Ruth and Thomas. He is survived by: his children, Laurie Routson (Doug) of Lincoln, IL and Kevin Watkins (Melissa) of Springfield, IL; his siblings, Rosemary, Nancy and Robert "Bob"; and his grandchildren, Darrin, Nick, Conner, Shelbi and Morgan. He is also survived by one great-grandchild; and two step great-grandchildren.
Memorial Donations may be made in Jim's name to Humane Society of Logan County, The American Cancer Society, or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
