He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Davis and Evelyn "Sally" Davis; and his siblings, Albert "Mick" and JoAnn Gable. He is survived by: his wife Shirley Jones; his children, James L. Davis Jr. (Denise) and Victoria Bramwell-Davis; his grandchildren, Joe Davis (Ashley), Emily Davenport (Josh), Alex Williams (Jason), Christopher Davis (Kayla), John Davis, Seth Bramwell, Luke Bramwell, Traci Onken and Amy Bramwell; and his great grandchildren, Avery Davenport, Briggs Davenport, Troy Davis and Harry Williams.

Memorials may be made in Jim's name to Holy Family Church or Holy Family Food Pantry.
