We are sad to announce that on July 14, 2022, at the age of 85, Jack A. Getchel of Lincoln, Illinois, born in Owosso, Michigan passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl Samuel and Geraldine Getchel (Linzey); his son-in-law Donnie Parker; and his siblings, Lillian, Ralph, Earl, George and Nancy.
He is survived by: his wife Ruthetta Sommer; his children, Deborah Parker and Michael Getchel (Angela); his grandchildren, Jackson Getchel and Ashley Boulb (Zach); his great grandchild William Boulb; his stepgrandchildren, Rusty Parker (Tara) and Matthew Parker (Lindsey); his stepgreat-grandchildren, Hudson, Hayden, Hank, Della and Grey; and his sisters, Doris Hanstein and Linda Getchel.
Memorials may be made in Jack's name to Lincoln Christian University or The Lincoln Christian Church Jolly Seniors.
