With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Gertrude Leesman (Lincoln, Illinois), born in Altamont, Illinois, who passed away on January 11, 2020 at the age of 102. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Theodore Wolf and Mildred Wolf (Harnish); her son Roger; her siblings, Ella Williams (Raymond), Esther Maxheimer (Everett), Dorothy Laatsch (Richard) and Raymond Wolf (Joan); and her nephew Jerry Maxheimer.

She is survived by: her husband Raymond Leesman; her daughters, Marianne Herriott (Mark) of Champaign, IL, Joan Decker (Dan) of Dubuque, IA and Gail McShane (Jim) of Lincoln, IL; and her grandchildren, Allison Fritz (Lee), John Herriott, Joel Decker (Kristy), Sarah Hess (Ryan), Jordan Decker, Sam McShane (Kristen) and Hannah Gansner (Luke).

Memorials may be made in Gertrude's name to St. John's United Church of Christ or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
