He was predeceased by: his former wife Kathryn Esibell Burkhart; his wife Esibell Scare; his stepbrothers, Jerry Flueckiger and Ed Lane; and his brother Dave Scare.
He is survived by: his siblings, Elmyra Wolfe and Phillip Scare; and his cousins, Tom and Mary Anderson.
