He was predeceased by: his parents, Joe Herrin and Bonnie Herrin (Hunter); his wife Janice Boyer; his sister Bonita Ryan; his grandson Ethan Nicholas; and his pets, Sarah and Harley.
He is survived by: his children, John Nicholas (Stephanie), Tanya Nicholas, Jennifer Billington (Laszlo) and Abigail Dinger; his grandchildren, Jared Stanley (Morgan), Miranda Harris (Tim), Camden Nicholas, Lena Nicholas, Audrey Buss (Luke) and Brayden Buss; his great grandchildren, Eloise Mason, Atreus Green and Kyler Green; his brother-in-law Steven Ryan; and his sister Pam Herrin.
Visitation was held on Monday, December 16th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Holland Barry & Bennett Funeral Home (620 Pulaski St, Lincoln, IL 62656). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, December 17th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
Memorial donations may be made to the family or to the Humane Society of Logan County and will be accepted at the funeral home.
