With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Dorothy Mae Hunter of Lincoln, Illinois, born in Bloomington, Illinois, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 7, 2024. She was predeceased by: her parents, Donald Whiteside and Marie Whiteside (Hardin); her husband Robert Hunter; and her siblings, Melvin and Carrie.

She is survived by: her children, Connie Turley (Kevin), Roger Hunter (Daisy), Martha Ellsberry (Randy) and Byron Hunter (Jessica); her grandchildren, Travis, Jody, Miley, Michelle, Crystal and Breann; her great grandchildren, Selena, Allison, Joey and Lexie; and her siblings, Pat Linton, Raymond Whiteside, Arthur Whiteside and Robbie Whiteside.
