He was predeceased by: his parents, Wesley William and Agnes Lydia Zimmer (Miller). He is survived by: his wife Jayne Blanford; his children, Wendy Sapp (Ben) and Rick Zimmer (Gail); his grandchildren, Hayden and Alyssa Zimmer; and his siblings, Maxine Lolling (Richard), Bill Zimmer (Janet), Judy Taylor (Robert) and Carol Egli (Joe).
Memorial donations may be made in David's name to Lincoln Christian Church, Lincoln or Safe Haven Hospice.
