With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Dale Meier of Lincoln, Illinois, born in Saint Joseph, Illinois, who passed away on October 14, 2022 at the age of 80. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Jerry F. Meier and Ida D. Meier (Wolken); his former wife Sandra S. Zbinden; his children, Dianne Whitman and Douglas Meier; his spouse Jean Goldhammer; his stepsons, Lane Dumser and Leigh Dumser (Amy); and his brothers, Kenneth, Derald (Sandra) and Virgil (Jane). He was also cherished by 4 grandsons, 3 granddaughters, and 3 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made in Dale's name to The ALS Association, Lincoln Rotary Club, or Zion Lutheran School.
