He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl George and Doris Juanita Ruben (Bowles); and his sister Cheryl Baker (Ron) of Emden, IL. He is survived by: his wife Carol Ann Sparks; his children, David Ruben of Schaumberg, IL, Katherine Burger (Darren) of Hartsburg, IL, Synthia Ruben (Jason Waller) of Lincoln, IL and Rebecca Langley (Patrick) of Lincoln, IL; his grandchildren, Ashley Ott, Dusten Dinger, Nastassja Ott and Kyleigh Ott; and his great grandchild William Ruben.
Visitation for Chuck will be from 4:00-7:00 p. m. Friday August 28, 2020 at Fricke-Calvert-Schrader Funeral Home where social distancing and face mask will be required.
Memorials may be made in Chuck's name to the Charles Ruben Scholarship Fund, for the Hartsburg/ Emden School District.
