Cecil Gable Obituary

We are sad to announce that on September 30, 2019, at the age of 97, Cecil Gable (Lincoln, Illinois), born in Shobonier, Illinois passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, George Gable and Mitalda Gable (Schmidt); and his daughter Zena Stevenson. He is survived by: his wife JoAnn Davis; his daughters, Roberta "Bobbie" Taylor (Dan) and Tricia Pineda (Brian); and his brothers, Jerry Gable (Phyllis) and Wayne Gable. He is also survived by his five grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

Memorial donations may be made in Cecil's name to Abraham Lincoln Memorial Hospital or St. John United Church of Christ, Lincoln.
