Gottfreid of Libertyville, Illinois, born in Chicago, Illinois, who passed away on November 28, 2024, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his siblings, Jeanie, William and Frank. He is survived by: his wife Michele; his daughters, Anna Stouffer (Mason) and Molly; his siblings, Robert Gottfreid (Connie) and Teri Fletcher (Paul); his sister-in-law Annette Horath (Stephen); his uncle Robert; and his aunt Martha Sasgen. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Thursday, December 5th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the McMurrough Funeral Chapel (101 Park Pl, Libertyville, IL 60048). A funeral Mass was held on Friday, December 6th 2024 at 10:30 AM at the St. Joseph Catholic Church (121 E Maple Ave, Libertyville, IL 60048).

In lieu of flowers, memorials made to the Boy Scouts of America, 850 Forest Edge Drive, Vernon Hills, IL 60061, would be greatly appreciated.
