He is survived by: his wife Katy; his children, Patrick S. and Thomas B.; his sisters, Linda Meyer (Peter), Patricia Elster and Mary Beth Elster; his parents-in-law, Donald Cruickshank (Carol) and Marion Cruickshank; his sister-in-law Laura Cruickshank; and his nieces and nephews, Billy, Justin, Tara, Cayley, Luka and Edward Nealon Jr..
