It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Michael Scott Sweazey of Libertyville, Illinois, born in Chicago, Illinois, who passed away on September 11, 2023, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Tom Sweazey and Marion Sweazey. He is survived by: his wife Carol; his children, Jennifer Olsson (Tom), Sandra Imm (Mike) and Thomas Sweazey; his stepchildren, Tracy Binder and Scott Binder; his brother John Sweazey (Kathleen); and his grandchildren, Jeffrey Olsson, Jonathan Olsson, Kate Olsson, Halle Holman (Zac), Elle Imm, Mack Imm and Charlie Imm.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in honor of Michael Sweazey to St Jude's Children's Research Hospital, 501 St Jude Pl, Memphis, TN 38105.
