He was predeceased by: his sons, Mark and Matthew. He is survived by: his wife Dorothy; his children, Debbie Tekampe (Art), Greg Miholic (Debbie) and Diana Crutchfield (Steve); his grandchildren, Brian (Susie), Vicki (Justin), Kevin (Erica), Adam (Lauren), Peter (Chelsea), Erin (Chris) and Leslie (Justin); his great grandchildren, Abby, Brianna, Garrett, Layla, Zoey, Amelia, Lucas, Sloan, Grace, Noah, Grayson, Emma, Teagan, Joey, Quinn and Logan; and his sister-in-law Pat Beier.
Visitation was held on Saturday, March 29th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM, on Monday, March 31st 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM and at 10:00 PM. A funeral Mass was held on Monday, March 31st 2025 from 11:00 AM to 11:55 AM and at 11:00 PM at the St. Mary of the Annunciation (22333 W Erhart Rd, Mundelein, IL 60060). A burial was held on Monday, March 31st 2025 from 12:30 PM to 12:45 PM at the Ascension Catholic Cemetery (1920 W Buckley Rd, Libertyville, IL 60030).
In lieu of flowers, memorials made to the Alzheimer's Association http://www.alz.org or the World War II Museum at http://www.nationalww2museum.org would be greatly appreciated.
