He was predeceased by: his parents, Mark Sr. Fields and Eugenia Fields; his son Mark Fields, III; and his brothers, Phillip, Henry and Gerald.

He is survived by: his wife Mary Fields; his daughters, Patricia Fields-Perry, Catherine Fields and Helen Fields; his grandchildren, Justin, Alyssa and Collin; and his siblings, Joanne Fields-Whitaker (David) and Robert Fields.

My Daughter went LHS with one of his daughters so we had a lot of good conversations before we moved from Libertyville in 2000. I'm so sorry for your loss. He was kind and straight forward. when delivering difficult news. I also remember how devastated he was when Mark Jr passed. My continued prayers to you all.”
