She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Edward Schultz and Martha Schultz; her friend William "Bill" Deets; her daughters, Janis Nowak (Dave), Joyce Abernathy (Brian), Joanne D'Alton (Mike), Judith Fulghum (Jim) and Jacquelyn Weaver (Mike); her grandchildren, Kyle Abernathy (Abby), Will Abernathy (Amelia), Kelli LaForge (Dave), Joshua Peterson (Lena), Natilee Frigge, Sara Fulghum, Dan Weaver (Kristine), Beth Alvarez (Ricardo) and Jill Weaver; her husband Bill; and her brother Marvin. She was also cherished by her in-laws, nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and family.

Memorials may be donated to St. Matthew Lutheran Church in Hawthorn Woods.
