He is survived by: his sons, Karl Waigand, III (Rachael) and Lance Waigand; his grandchildren, Mathew Waigand and Maria Waigand (Jodison); his great grandchildren, Aaliyah, Reign and Audra; and his sisters, Ingrid Maierhofer and Irmagard "Emmy" Coor.
