It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Kaitlyn Marie Krastev of Libertyville, Illinois, who passed away on March 31, 2024, at the age of 26, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her grandfather Rocci Pellettiere. She is survived by: her husband Tino Krastev of Libertyville; her brother Christopher Pellettiere; her in-laws, Mitch and Lina Krastev; her grandparents, Darlene Pellettiere, Richard Meyer (Patricia), Evgenia Hristova and Nadeshta Krasteva; and her sister-in-law Kristina Krasteva. She is also survived by her many aunts, uncles, and cousins.

In lieu of flowers, donations should be made in care of the Katie Krastev Scholarship Fund in remembrance of Katie.
