She was predeceased by: her parents, Regina Hellinga (Butkus) and Gerard Hellinga. She is survived by: her husband Frank; her brother Jerry Hellinga; her nieces and nephews, Christopher Hellinga (Lyndsey), Andrew Hellinga, Mario Belluomini (Diana), Nicole Latino, Gina McGuire (Kevin) and Marina Litton (Ronald); and her cousins, Dan, Mary Jane Butkus, Janet Appling, Maria Butkus Bomier and Roger Degris.

“My heart aches in the loss of my dear friend of some 40 plus years, Judy Belluomini. She was a woman like no other. Judy's dedication in a 43-year career teaching career is testimony to her wanting to make a difference in the lives of her students. Judy's other well-known "passion" was the love she had for her beautiful collies. Her remarkable "teaching talents" transferred to training her collies as well, putting not only championship titles on them, but also many performance titles.”
