She was predeceased by: her husband Robert J. Rick; her son Robert J. Rick, Jr.; her parents, LeRoy Steffens and Lucille Steffens; her brother Jack Steffens; her son-in-law Michael Koepke; and her sister-in-law Dorothy Gilaty.

She is survived by: her children, Mary Lang (Howard), Walter Rick, Nanci Richards (Charles), Cathryn Koepke and James Rick (Nancy); her grandchildren, Rob (Chris Lang), Lora Wolfe, Matthew (Katelyn Koepke) and Jason (Adam Richards); and her son Terry Brown. She is also survived by 13 Great Grandchildren.
