He was predeceased by: his former wife Elizabeth "Betty" O'Neil; his sister Elizabeth Shimshak; his stepgranddaughter Lauren Kowal; and his grandson Jonathan Neuberger. He is survived by: his wife Harriett Donndelinger; his siblings, Joan Hendricks and Paul Donndelinger (Gretchen); his children, Michael Donndelinger, Jane Victor (Dan), Mary Neuberger (Paul) and Joseph Donndelinger (Valerie); his stepdaughters, Janet Greene (Geoff) and Sally Kowal (Connie); his grandchildren, Danna Ayres (Tim), James Neuberger and Michael Neuberger (Megan); and his stepgrandchildren, Trevor Greene (Tiffany), Derek Greene (Susie) and K. C. Kowal. He is also survived by 7 great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
