Sassen of Libertyville, Illinois, born in Jackson, Michigan, who passed away on February 7, 2023, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband James Sassen. She is survived by: her sons, Timothy Sassen (Shelly), Patrick Sassen (Betsie) and Matthew Sassen; her grandchildren, Trevor Sassen, Noah Montegue, Tierney Sassen and Connell Sassen; and her sister Joan Dewey (late Norm).
