He was predeceased by: his father Konstantinos; his siblings, Christos, Georgia (Elias) and Stavroula; and his sibling-in-law Panagioti.

He is survived by: his wife Tina; his children, Kostas (Jessica) and Panagiota (Ioannis); his grandchildren, George, Dino, Nikoleta, Anastasios and Georgios; and his sibling Spiros (late Niki).
