It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Fred C. Yates of Libertyville, Illinois, who passed away on August 31, 2023, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Yates and Virginia Yates; and his brother Tim Yates. He is survived by: his wife Kay Yates; his sons, Paul Wachtel (Courtney), Thomas Yates (Eva) and Daniel Yates (Bethann); his grandchildren, Carter, Cameron, Jamie, Theodore and Penelope; and his siblings, Cheryl Weiss (Bill), Pamela Kochel, Susan Landis (Bill), Mark Yates and Cindy Storie (Larry).
In lieu of flowers, donations made in memory of Fred to the Navy Seal Foundation, navysealfoundation.org, or the Moody Bible Institute, moodybible.org, would be greatly appreciated.
