He was predeceased by: his son David; and his parents, Frank Spannraft and Marie-Louise Spannraft. He is survived by: his wife Elizabeth Spannraft; his brother Ron Spannraft; his brother-in-law James Berg (Joan); and his nephews, Daniel, Jason, James Jr. and Jeremy.
