She was predeceased by: her parents, Leo Elfering and Edythe Elfering; her husband Peter; her brothers, Larry and Leo; her sister-in-law Wilma Elfering; and her son-in-law Richard Capps.
She is survived by: her children, Julie Gavigan (Pat), Linda Capps (late Richard), Leo (Veronica Montellano), Jeffrey (Danyel), Mary Peterson (Rick) and Michael Romeo; her brother Thomas Elfering (Annette); and her sister-in-law Judy Elfering. She is also survived by 15 Grandchildren, 15 Great-Grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
