It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Elaine Katris (Libertyville, Illinois), who passed away on August 27, 2023, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Nicholas Poulos and Toula Poulos; her daughter Paula Katris; her granddaughter Christine Katris; her brother Alex Poulos; and her daughter-in-law Marlene Katris.
She is survived by: her children, Peter Katris (Deirdre), Betty Ebarle (Liberato) and Nick (Cindy); her siblings, Carol Prosek, Steven Poulos (Elaine), James Poulos (Ann), Marge Xenos (Gust) and Bessie Poulos; her grandchildren, Brittany Buddell (Jacob), Alyssa Abernathy (Ryan), Megan Price (Kellen), Nicole Katris, Paula Katris and Vasilis Katris; and her great grandchildren, Aiden Abernathy and Athena Buddell. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and friends.
