He was predeceased by: his sister Mary Ann Catanzaro. He is survived by: his wife Virginia "Ginny" Nissen; his sons, Michael Nissen (Carol) and Scott Nissen (Leslee); his grandchildren, Megan, Chandler and Cameron; and his sister Frances Brandholt.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, January 8th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Burnett-Dane Funeral Home (120 W Park Ave, Libertyville, IL 60048). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, January 8th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
