He was predeceased by: his former wife Margaret "Peg" Ransom; his brother Richard Deane Ransom; and his uncle Ronald. He is survived by: his wife Wilma Ransom; his grandson Dylan Lory Ransom; and his nieces and nephews, Steven Ransom (Allison), Philip Palmquist (Robyn), Steven Palmquist (Natalya), Timothy Palmquist (Terri), Debra Williamson (Phil), Carol MacNeill (Steve) and Mary Petrie (Dave). He is also survived by grandnieces, grandnephews, and dear friends.
