She was predeceased by: her husband John "Jack" Bolander; and her sister Kathryn Miller. She is survived by: her children, Mary Bolander, Carl Bolander (Laura) and John Bolander, Jr. (Sayoko); and her siblings, Barbara Miller (Donald) and George Uhrich (Norma). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
