He was predeceased by: his parents, George Griggs and Velma Griggs (Paden); his parents-in-law, Emma "Larry" Hayes and Richard "Mickey" Hayes; his siblings, Joan Hess (Jim), Nena Bradley (Lyle), Lloyd Griggs and Frank Griggs (Barbara); his grandsons, Cooper Voss and David Mock; and his brothers-in-law, Terrry L. Hayes of Quincy and Thomas W. Hayes of Quincy.
He is survived by: his wife Karen Sue Hayes-Danner; his children, George Travis Griggs (Dani) of Liberty, Teri Lynn Voss (Nathan) of Quincy, Rebecca Huff (Weldon) of Belton and Betsy Bliven (Joe) of Quincy; his stepchildren, Shelli Danner of Quincy and Cami Mock (Jeff) of Quincy; his grandchildren, Kristie Mock, Joshua Mock (Erica), Justin Mainka (Meagan) of Victoria, Kruse Allensworth (Amber), Shelby Allensworth, Courtney Bliven, Derek Griggs, Jordan Griggs-Voss, Holden Voss and Craig Huff; his great grandchildren, Melody Shear, Gracelyn Shear, Konnor Allensworth, Jameson Mock, Lincoln Mock, Leo Mock, Brysen Brewer, Keagen Danner, Davina Benjamin and Brady Mock; his sister Connie Rathburn of Quincy; and his sister-in-law Kathleen Hayes of Tuson, AZ. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
