With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Helene T Gleason in Liberty, Illinois, born in Strawberry Point, Iowa, who passed away on January 22, 2021 at the age of 96. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward Stephen and Eva Winifred Hebron (Eldredge); her husband Preston C. Gleason; and her sisters, Irene Ivory and Raynelle Harris.
She is survived by: her daughters, Connie Espel-Perdew of Princeton, IL and Mary Baker (Michael) of Clear Lake, IA; her grandsons, Robert Espel of Princeton, Brian Espel of Chicago, Jeff Baker (Amanda Kalen) of Lisbon, IA, David Baker (Jamie Puglin) of Cary, NC and Mark Baker (Shelby Newport) of Flint, MI; and her great grandchildren, Owen and Aleah Espel of Princeton. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to The First Presbyterian Church, Mobile Meals C/O Susan Lucas, 22 South Goose, The Closet or Liberty Village of Princeton, IL for staff appreciation.
